I always get carried away whenever I listen to some good songs. These songs have excellent lyrics. Above that, the lyrics are well matched by fantabulous music. And believe me, this is a very rare combination now a days. "Tere Mere Sapne" from the movie, Guide, is definitely a song of that calibre. The lyricist is Shailendra and the music dircetor is S.D.Burman. Rafi has provided full justice to the song. Such simple lyrics and soft, mellifluous music- and the song is definitely one of the most romantic numbers I have ever heard.

"Aashiq Banaya Aapne" from Aashiq Banaya Apne
"Inside Out" from Bryan Adams (Don't miss this one...!!!),
"With or without you" from U2 - Joshua Tree.
These are some of the songs that i have listened to for "days" together... continuously...!!
I just love "With or without you". I think it is a very beautiful song.
"Dream on" by aerosmith
"Stairway To Heaven" by Led Zeppelin
"Aata Jaate Hanste Gaate" from Maine Pyar Kiya ( I like this version than the english version)
To name a few.... There are a whole lot of songs depending upon the mood, and ofcourse the company ;).
Yes, mahesh, i will definitely listen to the songs that you have suggested.:-)
And also Pink Floyd songs too... like Comfortably Numb, Let there be more light, Hey You ( My favourite ), One of These Days , Money, Entire Dark side of the moon ( I got the CD and bought the entire album from itunes ;) ). Actually the entire Pink Floyd is great. I can keep on going. Instead check out my favourite bands from my profile. Those bands have really good songs, i don't mention the classic ones in there.
And don't believe in what sunil has to say about my music choices :).
